Inside Sales Representative
Department:

Inside Sales Representatives generate revenue from customer retention, cross-selling and new account acquisition through calls, emails, and marketing-generated follow ups. The employee is also responsible for selling Eurofins MWG Operon's products via the phone and email as well as serving as the primary, revenue generating sales contact for Eurofins MWG Operon's existing and potential customers. The primary tasks include sales lead generation and lead qualification. Other tasks include initiating out-bound and receiving in-bound calls to/from prospective customers, detailing product features and benefits, quality, services, and logistics. This position works closely with the Field Sales team to reach revenue goals. The Inside Sales Representative is also responsible for monitoring key account performance, maintaining CRM database with potential leads, and coordinating large opportunities with management.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and possess the talent to sell products over the phone; candidate must have prior sales experience and the desire to excel in a fast paced sales environment; strong computer skills and professional telephone and email abilities are required. Candidate must be motivated to learn and adapt to our ever changing field.
Requirements:- Minimum B.S.in Life Science or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service and/or Sales experience.
- Knowledge of molecular biology research methods.
- Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese a plus
- Laboratory research experience is a plus
- Proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Technical Support Representative
Department:
Technical Support
The Technical Support Representative’s role is to support Eurofins customers with pre- and post-order inquiries, product support, and assay-specific troubleshooting inquiries. This position will be primarily supporting our DNA Sequencing customers with their single read sequencing results but the employee will also be responsible for cross-training on all other product lines. The majority of customer contact is via phone and email and requires an individual with professional communication abilities. The employee must also have a strong drive for continual education in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Responsibilities Include:- Manage all customer calls and email requests
- Offer value-added customer support by following up with all customer complaints/inquiries
- Filter information to Marketing and Inside Sales teams about current market trends or inquiries
- Coordinate special orders with production staff
- Guide Customer Service and Sales teams with custom inquiries
- Offer sales support to close opportunities
- Help launch future new product lines
- Daily update of CRM database
Requirements:- BA/BS (preferably in a Life Science, such as Biology, Molecular Biology, etc.)
- 1 to 5 years experience in Life Science research
- 1 to 5 years experience in Customer Service role
- The ability to develop a strong technical background in molecular biology or genomics
- Must be able to present complicated scientific data in a logical manner
- Must posses excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills

Instrumentation & calibration Tech.
Department:
Maintenance
Level I to III depending on degree, background and experience
Main Tasks / Primary Responsibilities- Performs maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, calibration and repair on a variety of circuits, components, analytical equipment and instrumentation for our laboratory and manufacturing equipment
- Works on assignments that are complex in nature in which considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- Maintains and repairs laboratory equipment to ensure safe reliable operation and keep downtime to a minimum. Coordinate, and oversee third party contractors.
- Utilize, and maintain Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work orders, repairs, PM s, and inventory control. Coordinates and performs troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Involved in facility maintenance and communicates with third parties/contractors in order to keep facility environment safe and productive
- Improves procedures by modifying, updating or even creating SOP’s/WI’s to troubleshoot and/or maintain lab equipment
- Works in close contact with R&D department and is also involved in development and/or optimization of equipment
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may oversee the activities of other individual contributor personnel.

- Maintains all logs and required documentation
- Maintains spare parts inventory
- Maintains order and inventory of shop tools and equipment
- Maintains accurate maintenance records according to regulations
Required Qualifications:- Requires an AA degree or equivalent in electronics and/or general laboratory mechanics with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Experience in maintenance and repair of Laboratory Analytical and sythesizing equipment such as liquid handlers, HPLC s, Mass Specs and other commercial and in house designed Robots
- Proven ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to perform under pressure of a fast paced production environment
- PC based computer literacy
- Ability to work well with a team with little supervision
- Acts to comply with established quality system standards
- Handles hazardous chemicals following, without exception, the company’s safety requirements
- Must be highly motivated, organized, efficient and flexible
- Works and communicates effectively with team members to attain best work flow and machine performance
- Is dependable and on time for handover between different shift times
